About the Sphynx
Developed from a natural hairless mutation discovered in Canada in 1966, known for its wrinkled, nearly hairless skin (a fine down may be present) and large ears. Medium-sized and muscular, with a barrel chest.
Temperament
Extroverted, affectionate, and attention-seeking, the Sphynx is often called a 'velcro cat' for its tendency to stay close to its people and seek out warmth.

- Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy
- Skin conditions (sunburn, acne)
- Periodontal disease
Grooming needs
Lacking a protective coat, the Sphynx needs regular bathing to remove oily buildup on the skin, along with ear cleaning and sun protection when outdoors.
