An ancient natural breed from Japan, famously depicted in the 'beckoning cat' (maneki-neko) figurines, distinguished by a short, pompom-like tail unique to each individual cat. Medium-sized, lean, and athletic, with a straight, expressive face.
Temperament
Active, sociable, and vocal, with a musical range of chirps and trills, the Japanese Bobtail enjoys interactive play and is often described as dog-like in its loyalty.
