About the British Shorthair
One of the oldest English breeds, descended from cats brought to Britain by the Romans and later refined into today's round, dense-boned build. Broad-faced with round eyes and a plush, dense coat, classically seen in 'British Blue' but bred in many colors.
Temperament
Calm, easygoing, and independent, the British Shorthair is affectionate on its own terms and generally undemanding, suiting quieter households well.

Grooming needs
