Pairing this with a yearly wellness exam and routine dental checks helps catch subtle changes early, even while the cat seems to be thriving.

In adult Turkish Van cats, it's worth staying alert for early signs such as lethargy, rapid or labored breathing, reduced appetite, or fainting spells or bad breath, drooling, or reluctance to eat hard food.
