Developed by crossing domestic cats with the African serval, resulting in a tall, lean, exotically patterned breed with large ears and a bold spotted coat. Earlier generations retain more serval characteristics, while later generations are more domestic in temperament.
Temperament
Highly energetic, bold, and curious, the Savannah enjoys water play and jumping to impressive heights, forming strong bonds with its people that are sometimes compared to canine loyalty.
