Developed in the 1960s by crossing Siamese, Abyssinian, and American Shorthair lines, producing a spotted breed that resembles a wild ocelot despite carrying no wild blood. Large, athletic, and muscular, with a bold spotted coat.

Confident, sociable, and trainable, the Ocicat often enjoys leash walking and interactive games, forming strong bonds with its family.
