The short, dense, pelt-like coat needs minimal brushing and rarely mats. Starting a gentle grooming routine now, while a Bengal kitten is small and adaptable, tends to make handling far easier once it's grown. This early window is also valuable for socializing a Bengal kitten to people, other pets, and everyday household sounds.

Most of the conditions linked to Bengal cats tend to appear later in life, so this stage is mainly about tracking normal growth: steady weight gain, bright eyes, a good appetite, and normal litter box habits. If anything looks off this early — such as lethargy, rapid or labored breathing, reduced appetite, or fainting spells — a prompt check-in with a vet is worthwhile rather than waiting.
